It is generally accepted that the Black Swans which we see in the UK have escaped from captivity so you won't find this bird on any official Hampshire or UK list.

However, it is a spectacular sight and it seems a shame to exclude it - and they are beginning to breed locally in the wild so they may become 'legitimate' before too long.
