On a walk around Stanpit accompanied by a more experienced birdwatcher (with telescope), I got my first viewings of Common Sandpipers and Green Sandpipers. All well out of range of my camera though. The only photograph I took was this latest addition to my collection of dodgy longtailed tit pictures.

It was a similar story at Lymington a few days later - plenty to see, including lots and lots of Ringed Plovers but all once again at long range.
