A relatively quiet month on the cliff, with large sections of it once again closed due to landslips. Although the Turnstones have still been around, there have been no further sightings of last month's Purple Sandpipers.

I was also reflecting on the fact that we hadn't seen the Great Crested Grebes which appeared in December 2002 then, towards the end of the month when the sea was briefly calm, there they were. Altogether I counted eight in the group. They were well outside camera range though, so you will have to make do with last year's picture.
