The spectacular flight above was photographed at Stanpit in January 2003 (Click on the picture for a closer view of a pair in flight a couple of months later). Those below were being fed by the visitors at Keyhaven in December 2002 and looked very much in charge.

The Swan below was incubating eggs on a very impressive nest at a local Country Park in May 2003. All these pictures will enlarge.

And I couldn't resist one more spectacular flying shot, this one taken at Lymington, January 2004

The Swan on the right was escorting a couple of cygnets across a creek at Stanpit in mid June 2004.

Nine years later, at Keyhaven, I couldn't repeat taking a very similar picture.
