It took quite a while to come across a Reed Bunting in full Summer plumage, which wasn't half hidden amongst reeds. This photograph, taken at Keyhaven, will enlarge.

The previous Winter, we came across a group of three Reed Buntings in a large Hawthorn tree which were much easier to photograph, and they seemed content to let me take as many pictures as I wished.
The two pictures on the right are of a male. Those below are of a female.
