Panther Video Clips

This first video is a record of the first two flights of the Panther autogyro. The rotors were struggling to make enough lift, and the second flight ended with an uncontrolled descent into the ground during the turn onto finals. Since taking out the shims from under the blades, the model flies much better. All I need to do now is persuade someone to take some more video. . .

This is flight fourteen of the Panther. The model is pretty well sorted but, as you will see, I'm still not taking any liberties with it for fear of becoming disorientated. So far though, no mishaps since flight number two above, so my confidence is slowly building. Thanks for Malcolm for wielding the camera - it was only a still camera and totally unfamiliar to him, so he was concentrating every bit as hard as I was!
