In March 2006 I replaced this model with another Ikarus Shock Flyer and took the opportunity to change to a C&K two cell motor. The reduction in weight, coupled with a slight increase in wing area, brought the wing loading down from 4.5 oz/sq ft to 3.2 oz/sq ft.
