The early loss of this model was a bit of a blow. However, Spike Spencer of the Salisbury club did manage to get this excellent flying shot before its demise (click to enlarge)
It is recorded in one of the articles about David Stanger's work that "All that remains of the models are photographs (and) the engines". So, to complete this historical re-enactment, I dutifully extracted the dummy engine before disposing of the wreckage, and it sits in our glass fronted cabinet just to remind me of Mr. Stanger's early pioneering achievements.
