I cut the side stripes from burgundy sign vinly supplied by the local signwriters, and they used the same material for the lettering, so ensuring a perfect colour match. They supplied the British European Airways burgundy lettering already registered with the white, so I was able to apply the whole lot in one go. The nose and tail artwork were done at home from photos of the full size, printed out onto clear self-adhesive vinyl. See separate article for more details.
Although there was obviously a lot of work involved in getting to this stage, there is very little that seems to require comment. I will try to take some more detailed pictures of the internal detail - cockpit, cabin, battery stowage etc. but, as you can imagine, at this stage I was rather entranced by the sight of the assembled model, both in the garden. . .
