Descent is via John Scott (baptised1648, Blatherwycke, Northants., wife Bridget), William Scott (baptised 1677 Blatherwycke m. 1710 Blatherwycke), Clement Scott (Baptised 1717 Blatherwycke, m. Mary Baxter 1741 Cottingham, Northants) to John Scott (baptised 1758 Blatherwycke, m. Mary Moor) to Sarah Scott (baptised 1798 Blatherwycke, Northants) who married William Stanger in 1821 at Bulwick, Northants. See Bell Pedigree for more.

Almost all of the information on the ancestors of Sarah Scott has been provided to me by a fellow researcher who has transcribed the Blatherwycke PRs. I have augmented this with IGI entries for events outside Blatherwycke. Most of this line was validated at a visit to the Northamptonshire Record Office in September 2004.

Next Steps
1. Surname of Bridget Harford is unclear. Another researcher has it as Harpous, so more invesigation is needed.

2. The marriage of John Scott and Bridget, was not found in the Bollen Blore index, so the next step in looking for this Bridget is not clear.
